Xbox one 75$ upgrade reward

Hi, i recently recieved a message from microsoft saying that if i buy an xbox one from 07/07/14 to 07/31/14 i will recieve 75 dollars for upgrading. Well i just picked a new xbox one up today 07/08/14 and need help getting my free 75$.

Any Xbox One would be eligible as long as you activate it by July 31.

Why didn't I receive a 75$ xbox one upgrade promotion. I've been with xbox since day one. All 3 consoles? Little dissapointed

 

Just register the console and at some point you will receive the code to your gamertags inbox on the console. Sorry but I'm not sure of the length of time that it will take for the code to arrive.

 

Has anyone else had this problem too?

 

I also just ran out of gold too does that have something to do with it

 

Whether or not you have a Gold membership should have no affect on the offer.

 

The terms of the offer said the code would be sent around August 15.

 

Ummm how do you "register" the new console?

It actually says all you have to do is set it as your home console. He might as well register it as well but set it as your home console for sure. That is done in the settings on the Xbox One itself. IIRC it also asks you if you want to do it when your
first boot up your Xbox One.

 

See this is a really good promotion! If I were to get it, I would so buy the xbox today. Even though im for the ps4. A lot of people thinks its desperation. But I think its just a nice strategy!... But with my luck though I wouldn't ever get a promotion
like this and ive had my 360 for like 6 years. I think they should just send it to anyone on the 360 that hasnt gotten xbox one yet. That way all the people they lost at the start might come back.

 

If you dont get the free $75 by the 10th of next month u have to contact suppport
