    Xbox offering 20% Xbox live but charges full price


    My Xbox gold live is up for renewal and when I go to purchase it tries to charge me the full £39.99 so I return to the main screen. Xbox say it's offering 20% off but when it comes to it wants to charge me full price?

    The other thing you can do is watch for promotions from resellers, you can often get one for around $40. Best Buy is currently offering the Xbox Live Day One Edition, online only, for the full $60 price but throwing in a $20 Xbox Live promo code which brings
    the price down to effectively $40.

    Yes, I could still see the offer, right up until my Gold expired. Then I had to use another account to purchase 1 month of Gold for $1 and share it. Then the offer inexplicably came through on my acccount.

    I beleive I should now have 13 months of subscription??
