    Is anyone else having problems with Invites and Achievement notification banners not appearing. I have already tried changing the notification settings, resetting the Xbox and Clearing the Alternate Mac (which seems to fix the issue temporarily until log
    off).

    I was having this oddity myself, what I ended up doing was rebooting my modem and my firewall as well as my xbox and then the issue went away

    Thanks for the suggestions. I did some troubleshooting with a friend and discovered the issue was down to the Xbox application on my phone. Uninstalling the application fixed all the problems with notifications. I am yet to re-install the app but will
    test in a few days.

    On your xbox go to _ Settings - Preferences - Notifications

    Make sure - Banners are on

    Then click into - xbox notifications and select what you want to notify you about
