Xbox not showing enable when setting up new console.

One of the 2 systems is my home console yet neither shows up.

Just renamed the xbox it for funzies, nothing.

And, again:

•Power mode set to instant-on.

•Turning off storage when powered off is unchecked.

•Allow remote installations is checked

•Show progress remotely is checked

•All Xbox App Connectivity options are enabled

So, I have tried to look for the settings on the actual xbox itself and they are not there, the Xbox I am using is in the UK (dont know if this will make any difference). The settings however are online on the website and I have turned them all on there
but it still doesnt work when the xbox account tries to play with a pc account.

Also, after the settings are enabled is it meant to make the setting within fortnite to enable cross play show up, or does it just enable cross play in the background and the setting in fortnite still will not be there.

Go to the settings of your Xbox 360. There under the network settings go to the additional network settings and reset it to factory defaults.

Then have the console search for WiFi networks in the area. Does the SSID of your new modem show up?

If so, then provide the correct Passkey for the WiFi and connect.

If the WiFi doesn't show up, check your WiFi router if you have 2.4GHz WiFi enabled. Also make sure that you don't use "exotic" characters in your SSID like Umlauts (ÄÖÜ) or accented characters (áèû) or stuff like that.

Also could you please describe in more detail at what stage your console fails to connect when you do a connection test to Xbox Live?

Does it see your WiFi SSID?

Does it connect to the WiFi but not the Internet?

Does it connect to the Internet but not Xbox Live?

If you are just trying to connect to your Xbox One on mobile you should only need to select “Connect to your Xbox One” and ensure the Xbox is on the same network as your Xbox App. Once the console is on and connected to the network it should show up in that
option.

Set up is primarily for transferring settings on set up of a new console, and requires a code displayed when you are updating your console for the first time.
