Xbox not playing bethesda game disc

Hello! I was having issues playing Fallout 4 and Skyrim on my Xbox One (2013 edition). Every time I would start the games the selection screen would load but when I would go to click start the game would completely freeze. This happened more with Fallout
4 then it did with Skyrim. I believe my Xbox was having a cooling problem. There was quite a large amount of dust in the vent and both of those games use a lot of power. Maybe that is your issue too? If not I would try putting the discs into another Xbox to
see if it is a disc problem or your Xbox.

The games never load you just hear the disc drive spin and slow and the laser reader moving around. The games are updated and I am afraid if I uninstall them the disc drive wont read them to install them again

Thank you for coming to the xbox Forum with your Bethesda game issue. Does it look like it wants to load up and then goes back to the home scree. Have you tried to see if these games need an update and worse case scenario is you may need to try and reinstall
the game. Though first I would check for updates on these games please.

Also have you replaced a disc and tried a new disc ?

I have this happen with many games if I apply the update later and download everything from the disc first . Then I started applying the update while it downloads off disc in conjunction and never had this problem since.
