    Xbox not getting connected with the HP spectre laptop


    I have an HP Spectre laptop and that is very advanced and new laptop, but it is not getting connected with my Xbox. As I am trying to connect the Xbox through my HP laptop, I had contacted

    HP support assistant     for the solution but did not get any substantial. Please provide me as the two will get connect and I resume my playing.

    I can't connect to Xbox Live.

    I've been using an ethernet cable connected to my laptop to connect to Xbox Live for over a year. All of the sudden it stopped working yesterday. I haven't changed anything. I went through everything to make sure my laptop was still sharing the internet
    and it was.I've tried connecting using both my laptops, which both worked before yesterday. The laptops I've been using are an old HP Dv7 - 1240us and a new HP Elitebook 8730w. I've been getting the message, "Can't obtain IP Address from your router or modem."
    My xbox stops connecting before "Network." Verison is my ISP.

    I went through all the troubleshooting on my xbox and on xbox.com. Nothing has worked. Someone please help me. Thank you for any attempts.

    Possible to use your Laptop as a screen?

    Hey I was wondering if it's possible to use your laptop as a screen for playing Xbox 360. My laptop is a HP Pavilion dm4 2070us.

    For clarity, are you attempting to connect your Xbox to the internet via your new laptop? If that is the case, see the instructions here:

    Connect Xbox One to Xbox Live Without a Router

    If that is not the case, please provide more information on the connection you are trying to establish.

    Hi,

    Who told you this?

    The HDMI connection on an HP Pavillion laptop is an output only. You can't connect an Xbox console it. Sorry.

    This is a problem that has occurred in China. We have developed software for the Kinect camera in China. Yes they use a Kinect camera and Kinect adaptor. Recently the laptops which they use HP pavilion
    laptop 15-CS1014 TX are not connecting with the camera correctly.

    We do not know whether this is a laptop issue or has there been a windows 10 update in China which is causing this issue. This situation has only occurred over the last month or so. When they used the HP laptop HP Pavilion - 15-ck009tx
    this issue did not seem to occur.
