    Xbox not enforcing Family Safety times and limits


    HI.

    I have used Family Safety for a while now and it has been great. I have two kids, each with accounts that they use on both an Xbox S and two laptops. Both time limits and time of day restrictions worked great. The Xbox was reset one day and we had to start setup again. Since that day the reporting of the kids online presence, time and restrictions has not worked on the Xbox. It still works on the laptops. I have reset the Xbox, re-added the accounts to no avail. When the kids accounts are added they do not install like a child's account yet when I try to change settings on the Xbox the account still reflects child settings. The only thing that does work is if I set their time to zero they are logged off. The Xbox does still show as a connected device under Microsoft Family Safety.

    Any help?

    Hi there!

    Based on your issue description, there's nothing wrong with your Family Safety settings as it works fine on PC and the issue happened only after you reset your console. In my opinion, it's most likely a bug on Xbox system.

    Our work around here is to try to remove the Xbox console from their accounts' devices list on https://account.microsoft.com > Devices, using their own account on the web then set it up again.
