Xbox new captures change

Discus and support Xbox new captures change in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Due to the alert about the change in captures soon and how all my clips will be deleted.     Xbox new captures change


    Due to the alert about the change in captures soon and how all my clips will be deleted. I have been trying to follow the instructions to back them up. However, after I press “Upload to Onedrive” it tells me “Failed to upload one of the items”. I have a lot of captures so I don’t know which one it is talking about.

    What version of Xbox OS you'r using?

    new feature:

    Flexible capture settings

    You now have more control over what gets captured and recorded in games. In Settings > Preferences > Capture & share, choose between “Captures by me,” “Captures by me or games,” and “Don’t
    capture.”

    Try to change that.

    Yes the USB drive is brand new and works on the computer. Tried all prior fixes listed above and nothing. Files work on the drive. Trying to capture gameplay on Xbox series x. Won’t recognize as an option to change the location of capture and share to the jump drive.

    On your console Home Guide menu select Capture & share > Recent captures >Show all >Manage captures

    That will show you your captures you have uploaded to the Xbox network. You can change this to captures on this console to show those captures.

    If you change the look on screen to small icons (press 4 squares) you will have other options as well as a delete choice.

    Looking at this screen outlay, on console captures will inform you if they have been uploaded to the Xbox network or not.

    Captures on the console that have been uploaded to the xbox network can be deleted from the console if you want. Be aware that there is a finite available space on the console for captures that fills up very quickly if you make a lot of clips and/or screenshots.

    Uploaded Captures on the xbox network can also be deleted.

    I use the sort option and delete captures regularly from both my console and Xbox network to keep my captures manageable.
