xbox needs to localise to more countries for the xbox like they did with pc

I'm seeing more localised content on my dashboard, tailored to my country and in that language. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think this will ever be fixed. I fear it will only get worse.

Why region lock Xbox Game Pass for PC?? Microsoft is one of the few companies that doesn't want our money.

Nintendo joined the club late and still managed to provide Nintendo Online almost globally. Microsoft (with Xbox live)... 30 countries ... 0 added in the last 4 years.

While it might be more difficult to provide actual Xbox live in a country, a PC based service isn't and locking it is just ridiculous.

Yes we can use a VPN, or change our window settings but why can't Xbox not just release it globally?

EA's sub model is even global ...

So Microsoft while you might have had a nice E3 and you did mention in your presentation! Play Anywhere, With Anyone, all our Friends, ... you disappoint many of us hoping that you would have learned.

With this the request to at least release the Xbox Game Pass for PC in more countries (Eastern EU, Eastern Countries in general, Many asian Countries, ...)

You do not even need a server hub in said country just a regional one ... like steam

This Discussion needs to be upvoted or recommended more, I live in Jordan and I REALLY want to play via Game Pass for PC and I can't because the country selection is LOCKED ON FREAKING UNITED STATES, Like why just the USA @Microsoft?! :/

While it is quite irritating that they didn't ship it to us in Scandinavia and the other countries taken off the launch day list, i have to see it as a chance for the launch day bugs to be sorted before it's released to us as a good thing.

I don't buy the localisation excuse for the delay, i rather believe what Webush analyst Michael Pachter mentioned, that PS4 got a head start all the way since Microsoft rather badly worded feature description. PS3 lost the US market, and had a really good
shot at taking it back now with the PS4, so Microsoft need to push sales specifically in the US market to combat that issue.

So instead of having it be sold out, due to lack of consoles available, it took back from X amount of countries to try and defend their spot in the US market, which is a big market.

Having heard that voice localisation for the affected countries wasn't ready and all the other excuses i don't buy, because you could still have released the console and have the localised software be an update when it was ready, the hardware itself is being
massproduced and won't change.

I truly believe they just needed more consoles to sell at the US market to defend against Sony's sales before the holidays.

And therefore, i think it is reasonable that we will get a release date
known either mid-late december or early January for the remaining countries.

My bet is that Xbox One launch day for the excluded countries will be
mid Febuary 2014.

In Canada they need to localise it for the French speaking players.

In Europe they have to do it at least for French and highly recommended for German players.

It may get released on another platform like the 360 but it could be because it has less localisation (less audio and text in the 360 version)

you need to get other gamers across the country and get it resolved i would like to see more eastern europeans on xbox , i have played many on the pc..and have friends in romaina , russia, ukraine ... hope to see you on dome games
