xbox name change has wrong currency

hi i am trying to change my name and every my currency is on euro's but when i try to change my name it is for some reason in brittish pounds how do i fix this?

is it possible that this is the cause, are all accounts from the same region?

yes i know that i have to change my country i also did that but when i do nothing changes, might this have something to do with that i have multiple windows systems using the same xbox account: one for one the go one whilst at home

if you are doing it on the web change the region, either the page or the account.

That's not where you change it

You must use the region migration tool

Found under my account and change my region on this website

And no you can't use the locale at the bottom of the page

You must use the migration tool which has a 3month limit

Hello HunterSeat, Microsoft has retired the Microsoft points name and has replaced it entirely with the new Microsoft and Xbox currency cards that local retailers sell. Yes you can change your gamertag with currency cards(or money on account).
