Xbox mw2 disc not working!!!

So I just bought a Xbox 360 mw2 disc from GameStop and when I put the disc into the disc reader on my Xbox one s it doesn’t show up as a disc is in the tray.

I even tried going onto the Xbox app and I downloaded the game to my Xbox but when I open it I sitll get the same message.

I’ve have tried everything that there was and it sitll won’t go please help!!!

Are you having this problem only with COD MW2? or with all of your games are you having problems to play it?

The Xbox series X will not read the MW2 disc, I have returned it and tried 3 separate copies of the MW2 disc, the console will play other games/discs and read dvds/blue rays as well. But will not read any MW2 disc I insert into the console. The disc will read on my Xbox one. I installed it there and network transferred all the data to the series X and upgraded all the data that was transferred but the console refuses to read the MW2 disc.

Is your MW2 disc scratched?

Have you considered it might be your Xbox 360 disc tray?

Im having the same problem the disc just spins but the xbox wont even register there is a disc in it ....if i stick other discs in it works fine but MW2 no luck my second copy of the game so i know its not the disk or my system and ive also done the factory reset and all that 2 no luck

Well when my MW2 disc stopped being read it was a result of my xbox falling over. (I used to have it stand vertically)

Now I have it sit horizontally and I haven't moved it since then. It's just peculiar because I did try to use one of my friends' MW2 discs to see if it worked on my console and it didn't when he said it worked on his. And yet it reads every other one of
my games, but the perfect circle scratches are still apparent.
