    Xbox Music / Zune on PC


    Recently I started getting a bunch of issues with my Zune Pass Music (DRM) whether I'm downloading, playing, previewing content.

    it bounces back and forth between the Zune Install Error and DRM Verify error

    C00D11CC & C00D12F5

    nothing has changed on my system,

    The music still plays on my Zune HD Device.

    Now if I try to use the Marketplace on my Zune HD Device through WiFi....

    the Device gets stuck at "Getting Info"

    is the Zune Service Down right now?

    Can I stream my zune music to my xbox? I never had zune on my console but I do on my pc and phone, is there anyway to access that music on my Xbox?

    Kevin, is your Zune still working? Mine went haywire yesterday, my Zune will not sync, I get an automated message that my digital rights have expired. Deleted all 5000 plus songs and re-downloaded the Zune software, NOTHING! I'm so upset....

    Hi Cindy86468,

    I don't own a ZUNE portable player, I assume this is what you are referring to. I use the ZUNE PC software and when I received your message, I immediately checked and it still plays my "Owned" non-DRM music AND the DRM music I download through my ZUNE MUSIC
    PASS, err, Xbox ...

    I wonder if your portable ZUNE isn't updating the music DRM rights? Maybe try syncing with the ZUNE PC software.

    I hope the ZUNE PC software keeps updating the DRM music rights on our Xbox Music Pass music.

    Unable to stream music from marketplace (but able to download and listen to it once downloaded)

    In an e-mail Microsoft sent out on 8/29/2012 concerning upcoming changes to the Zune Music service, they said (check the last paragraph):

    "Dear xxxx:

    As we prepare for the exciting launch of Xbox Music later this fall, we want to make you aware of some pending changes to the Zune Music service that will be made on August 31st.

    Specifically, the following features will no longer be available:

    •Sending and receiving messages, inviting friends, sharing the songs, playlists, and albums you are listening to, and viewing past play history

    •Mixview playback and channel playlists

    •Apps for Zune HD

    •Purchasing music videos or streaming them as a part of Zune Music Pass from the Zune PC software

    •Re-downloading, re-activating, or re-licensing previously purchased music videos if / when you upgrade your PC

    These changes will NOT affect music streaming or downloading as part of Zune Music Pass, impact songs that you have purchased from Zune Marketplace, or change your ability to stream music videos on Xbox 360."

    So it appears that we should be able to continue streaming music to our Zune devices and the Zune software. So what gives, Microsoft?

    Just do it the old fashioned way and purchase the music on cd, rip it to your Pc and then sync your music onto your device with the Zune software.

    Lastly what does Zune have to do with Xbox games?

    xbox music win8 app wont stream to xbox 360

    Yes all music is in default music folder and sharing is enabled..my Zune music shows up with the Xbox logo next to the PC in the list of pcs in the system music player. My Xbox shows without the Xbox music logo but it takes a long time to show the music
    and it won't play

    I'm having the same problem. Noticed it on 1/14/2013. I could stream music from Zune Marketplace yesterday on both the Zune HD device and on the Zune PC software. If I download music from Marketplace and then play it, it still works. I'm wondering if
    the direct streaming from Zune Pass is going away - as part of the general migration to Xbox Music? I thought streaming would still work on Zune devices and software after the transition?
