Xbox multiplayer issues and 100% packet loss

I have had my Xbox series for about a year now and for as long as I've had it I've had network issues. I can log in to parties and start the game, but after about a minute, the game will disconnect. I have tried everything from disconnecting my wired internet and switching to wireless from my router, and when that didn't work, connecting directly to my modem. in the box set when I run the multiplayer test, I get 100% packet loss, UPnP unsuccessful, and Nat type moderate. I'm getting about 350-550 Mbps and about 200-300 Mops download and I'm not understanding why I get disconnected so much. I've researched and tried Everything on the Troubleshooting NAT errors and Packet loss threads. any insight would help.

    Thanks

    :)

Xbox multiplayer issues and 100% packet loss

I have been trying everything on this list except for contacting Verizon, I seriously doubt that this issue is my internet setup as the problem persists when connected directly to the modem instead of the router across the house. If this is an issue with my Xbox how and when could I fix it?

    Hi Nisabest0897

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your multiplayer issues and 100% packet loss. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

Based on the information you've provided, it seems like you're experiencing issues with your NAT type and packet loss. NAT type moderate can cause issues with online gaming, and packet loss can cause disconnections and lag.

Here are some steps you can take to try and find other options:

    1. Check your network hardware:

    • Make sure that your router and modem are both up to date and functioning properly. You can try resetting them to see if that helps.
    2. Check your network settings:

    • Make sure that your Xbox is set up to use the correct network settings. You can check this by going to Settings > Network > Network settings on your Xbox.
    3. Check your NAT type:

    4. Check for packet loss:

    • You can use the Xbox's built-in network diagnostic tool to check for packet loss. Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection. If you see high packet loss, you may need to contact your internet service provider to resolve the issue.
    5. Try a wired connection:

    • If you're using a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection to see if that helps.

In addition, you can utilize this support article as well for more information's: Troubleshoot your network connection speed

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your issue. I hope all of this information's are helpful. We look forward on your response.

    Regards,
