Xbox mode not appearing in settings.

Select mode just appears not to work, and this would be fine except they appear to have also regressed this in legacy xbox mode as well.

Try the repro steps:

1. Say either "xbox" (in legacy mode) or "hey cortana" in (cortana mode)

2. Say "select" (in cortana mode can also try"Make a selection" or "Turn on select mode" as described here:

support.gtm.xbox.com/.../cortana-voice-commands )

3. Try saying something on screen

Expected:

Entered a select mode where you can set items on screen

Outcome:

Select mode doesn't appear to be entered, both on screen can be said to select it.

Could you please walk me through how to enter the offline mode in Xbox setting? Hope it doesn’t mean that offline mode in MW setting because it also doesn’t work. Neither online nor offline no prompt appears for split screen.

Give this a try :

Check your power setting. If you’re in Instant-on mode:

1 Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2 Select System > Settings > Power & startup > Power mode & startup.
3 Confirm that your Power mode is set to Instant-on.
4 Unselect the option When Xbox is off, turn off storage.
5 Restart your Xbox, and then go to Settings and select System > Storage and see if your 6 device now appears in the list.

3. Confirm that your Power mode is set to Instant-on.

This is due to your console's power settings, the console intro will appear every time you turn it on if you have the "Shutdown (energy saving)" power mode set. That said, if you want the console to turn on directly, you need to set the power mode to "Sleep", this way you will prevent the console intro from appearing.

You can change your console power mode using the following procedure:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > Power options.
3. Select the option you prefer (sleep mode if you want to skip the Xbox intro).
