When you get ddos and your ip pulled 3 times in 1 week you know xbox is a joke now. Is anyone able to tell me why such a large corporate can't even do basic safety right? I report the

losers to the xbx enforcement (Mod Removed-Profanity) team that doesn't do anything yet when you call someone "trash" it's considered offense......

It's not an Xbox Live safety problem. DDOS attacks are not conducted through the live network, they are done via specialist networking software on a PC. It's not possible to hide your IP address on the Xbox Live network, it's not how the internet works.

I would suggest limiting your contact with people you don't know on Xbox Live. Don't join in small gaming sessions from invites from people you don't know, and don't join private one on one party chats with people you don't know. This is how they are getting
hold of your IP address.

If you get disconnected from Xbox Live, report the player and call your ISP. Your ISP will resolve your connection problem and launch an investigation on the denial of service. Such attacks are a criminal offence.

DDoS is done through your internet, not the Live service. Unless those people do something to you through Live itself, the enforcement team can't do anything.

Personally, I don't think it is a big problem if you stay within the ToU/CoC. As far as the ddos issues you need to contact your ISP.

Talked to my IPS provider they clearly stated it's all xbox's fault and nothing can be done other than there weak security. They have no power to trace a IP from a gamertag only xbox can and the ddos is just a line of 100's of pc's pinging my network so
they can't be found only xbx can find them
