    Xbox Mobile App Compromise


    Years ago I found out someone had my Xbox password and signed in under my name on the xbox mobile app. This was a typical should surfing technique, which was my fault. I found out and was told my account was removed. We since do not talk anymore. Today
    I noticed someone was deleted from my friends list. I was also deleted from their list, but was able to send them messages. My thought is that this person still has access to my xbox account through their xbox mobile app and may have removed and blocked this
    person from my friends list. I have changed my password several times and verified that when you change your password you are not signed out of the mobile app. Signing out of all devices also does not apply to the mobile app. There's also no way to view any
    login active on the app. From what it seems, the only way you have to enter your credentials again is if you sign out on your own. Is there any options that anyone knows of? I have too many games to start a new account over again, but it also seems that Microsoft
    doesn't believe in security when it comes to the xbox mobile app.

    This is totally wrong. There are quests on the Xbox Mobile App and the Mobile Game Pass App....prior to my advice above, I specifically checked the Xbox App itself and there were quests on there!

    If you refer to the xbox mobile app on your mobile, try logging out and logging in again, and also uninstall and install the app.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the Xbox app on mobile.

    I recommend to try:

    • uninstall app
    • updating the Mobile device
    • review the system requirements in the mobile store for the app
