Xbox/Microsoft redeeming codes applied my code to the wrong account

I pre-ordered gears of war 4, went to pick it up the day of release which coincidentally was four days before the actual release date, nice!

I then paid, and my preorder incentives were printed out on a receipt. As I walked back to my car I noticed it that the codes specifically stated what they were which was not as stated as a preorder bonus both on Xbox's website and EB his website. I should've
gotten The brothers to the end elite game.

What I got was something that stated it was a foam lancer and a hot Rod gnasher. Making a long story short and after numerous calls I was able to verify that the foam lancer code was in fact the brothers at arms elite pack. I had noticed as of late
redeeming codes takes you to the Microsoft website. So as the telephone operator for Microsoft waited for me I redeem the code not noticing that it had redeemed to the wrong account. I noticed this was a problem the night that I applied the seasons pass
for gears of war 4. I would sign in to my account that I wish to apply the codes on ,only to be taken to the Microsoft website and instantly be switched to another account ,that of which that I do not use on my xbox. I then realized that the seasons pass
can be redeemed on the Xbox to the barcode which is what I did for that.

I was asked by an online Microsoft tech to plead my case in hopes that I would be given a new code to then apply to the right account.

In addition I can honestly say that I will never use the Microsoft and or the Xbox website to apply codes anymore.

You can add Microsoft Points pre-paid codes by using the Xbox 360 console or by using Xbox.com.

Xbox 360 console

To enter a pre-paid Microsoft Points code by using the Xbox 360 Guide main menu, follow these steps:
Press the Xbox 360 Guide button, and then go to the Marketplace area.
Select Redeem Code.
Enter the 25-character pre-paid code.
To enter a Microsoft Points code by using the Add Points Wizard, follow these steps:
To access the Add Points Wizard, press the X button while you view any content description screen within the Game Marketplace or Video Marketplace areas or while you view the Memberships section in the Account Management area.
Select Redeem Prepaid Card.
Enter the 25-character pre-paid code.

Visit Sign In (Sign In) or follow these steps:
From Xbox.com, use your Windows Live ID to sign in to your Xbox LIVE account.
Select My Account from the My Xbox drop-down menu.
Click Redeem Code to enter the pre-paid code and add Microsoft Points to your account.

Xbox One code redeemed on wrong account

I redeemed a game code that I received when I purchased Assassins Creed: Origins Deluxe edition on my wrong account and I'm wondering if there's a way I can redeem it again (with proof of purchase of game and code of course).

You can redeem the different types of prepaid codes and have them applied to your account immediately. Here’s how:

On Xbox.com

On a computer, go to Redeem Code and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Enter the 25-character prepaid code and click Redeem Code.

In the Zune software

Start the Zune software and click Settings at the top of the page.

Click ACCOUNT in the upper-left corner.

Click redeem code under Microsoft Points, and then enter your code.

Unfortunately, Xbox Support are unable to transfer a code once its been redeemed.

"Important Before you redeem your code, make sure that you're signed in to the correct Microsoft account on your device or browser. Codes that are redeemed on the wrong account cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account by Xbox Support."

I got this response when redeeming a card today also with no error code, however I checked my Microsoft account and it did apply it to my account. I unable to purchase anything from the XBOX Store though and it continues to tell me something went wrong,
but again no error code given.

I have tried to purchase through the web site also and it gives me the same error message. It hangs on the confirm purchase page then goes to the Something went wrong message.

So I redeemed the code via the Microsoft store in my browser. Would that then translate to it being applied to my Microsoft account this my SoT account directly? Or would I have to use my Xbox to login and claim them in game?
