    Xbox/Microsoft Account Change


    Hi,

    Hopefully someone can help me, I currently use an Xbox account set up using the Microsoft account of another family member.

    Would it be possible to change that Microsoft account associated with the Xbox account to my Microsoft account?

    The reason I would like to do this is for ease of access without having to lose all of my games and progress by switching to a new account.

    Keep in mind that if you're trying to change the age on the Microsoft account so you can upgrade an Xbox account to adult, it will not work. Changing the age on the Microsoft account does not also change the age of an Xbox account. That cannot be changed.

    That's for age verification for using a Microsoft account. Changing the age of a Microsoft account does not change the age of an Xbox account.
