    xbox mic troubleshooting help


    My xbox one mic is working and all my settings say that I should be able to talk on xbox live to people, but for some reason no one can hear me still. I used my friends account with the same settings and same xbox and mic and I can talk how do I fix this?

    XO FOUR STEALTH NOT WORKING

    I just bought a Turtle Beach XO FOUR STEALTH headset and I can't update my controller for the mic because it is already updated due to the fact that I had to already update it for my old mic that was for 360 so I had to use the Xbox Stereo Audio Adapter. I went through troubleshooting with Microsoft and nothing fixed it. I can't hear anything except the pings when it lets me know I've turned my volume to the max and when I plug it into my phone. I'm getting real sick of your Sh*t Microsoft. Does anyone have any suggestions or things that could help?

    Brian and Tomas - Those troubleshooting tips were actually taken straight from a troubleshooting guide that was released to help players having problems with lagging during multiplayer. You can actually find those same instructions on ActiVision's website, so I don't think it would really put your systems at risk.

     Have you tried the mic on another device to rule out an issue with the actual mic itself?
