Xbox messages will not load on windows 10 PC

For the past month or so I have noticed that my Xbox app on my windows 10 pc will not load my messages. I receive the error "try again -we had trouble getting your conversations." I aIso cannot send messages from the pc app even if I go to my friends
profile and try to send with the pop up there. I receive the error "message cannot be sent". Everything seems to work fine on the android xbox app on my phone as well as on the xbox itself. The only unsual thing there is the messages seem to not be synced
between all the platforms as some messages have been deleted but still appear on the android app. I have tried the fixes found in other threads such as going to the apps and features section and resetting the app, uninstalling the app and reinstalling from
the store, logging completely out of the app and logging back in. The issue persists on the xbox beta app for windows 10 as well. Not really sure where to go from here and any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your messages to load.

Corrupted data may cause the app to not to work properly.

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?

Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*|
Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.

Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Ok, I checked and my pc is up to date. I logged out and removed my profile from the xbox, then signed out of my account on the pc and android xbox app. I logged back into my xbox, installed the xbox identity app then relogged into my pc account and there
is still no change.

Hello Aralynn,

Have you made sure the PC is completely up to date? This may cause issues if the PC is not up to date. Uninstall your profile form the Xbox console, sign out of the Xbox app on PC and android. After all uninstalled then reinstall them on each device starting
with the Xbox console.

Also try this out see if it helps.

1.Copy the link provided Xbox
Identity provider.

2. When you copy and past the link open it in Microsoft Store.

3. Install the app then launch Xbox App

4. it should ask you to sign in again completely.

I did the process described to perform a clean boot, did the app troubleshooter and also uninstalled and reinstalled the xbox app all with no change. My messages still will not load.

I decided to try a new account. I logged out and my had my husband log in with his account and his messages load just fine. I went ahead and removed my account information from the computer in the settings and relogged into the xbox app but still had no
change. Where do we go from here?
