Xbox Message Notifications Not Appearing

My Xbox is not telling me when I'm receiving messages from people. I've checked the notification settings and it says they are turned on. However when I received a message from someone nothing shows up and it's says "no new messages" under the conversations
until I go into the conversations and see there's a new message.

All today my friends have been sending me messages but they have not been showing up in my inbox, yes my notifications are on and im not appearing busy. HELP PLEASE

 

Notifications not appearing

For a while now my notifications haven't been showing up only certain ones and for certain friends. I thought it was the preview programs fault but it never got fixed ever after all the updates. I tried to restart my Xbox, my router, hard reset my Xbox one
even bought an Xbox one s and I'm still having the issues of notifications not showing up. Everything is either On or Everyone on the settings, is there something else I can try to fix this issue or its just something ill have to deal with?

 

So a known issue with no response yet from MS. Anyone contact support yet?
