    Xbox media remote not working after recent update!


    Hello all, just as I said above. After a recent update the nexus button on my media remote stopped working. I've has this remote for years but it's still perfectly functional as I've tested it on other consoles. It isn't working on my series x but it does work on my original xbox one so it's either a bug in the current firmware or something I haven't thought of. I am able to use every single other button but the nexus on the series x console so idk what to do anyone else out there having this issue?

    I am also having this issue with two different Xbox Ones and two different media remotes. Most likely a recent update has caused all of our remotes to stop working correctly.

    Mine is also completely unusable after the recent updates. I hope they fix the glitch quickly, as the remote is such a great way to control media.

    I'm experiencing the same thing. This didn't break for me until I updated my Xbox S console. The media remote lights up when you touch/move it, so I know it works -- and the Xbox Controller works - but the remote won't work with the console. Again, this
    happened during the most recent Xbox update.
