Xbox manual eject jammed the disc drive

    Xbox manual eject jammed the disc drive


    so I broke my ribbon cable ages ago, didn’t bother me I rarely use discs anyway. However I just got the one x and I’m giving my old one away. Figures I’d dix it first but I can’t get the plastic button off to replace the ribbon cable, thought I’d try the
    manual eject cause as long as they can eject their discs it’s fine (it’s a free console after all) so I tested it out and the disc jammed, manual eject can’t be done as that’s what caused it and manipulating the part that the cable attaches to makes the eject
    noise but then the drive struggles and gives up. Any ideas?

    My disc tray won't open; have tried many things...

    Seems like to me the disc tray is stuck or the button has malfunctioned. There is a way to eject the tray in case you get a disc stuck in the system. Here is the links below on how to do it.
