    My xbox is making a weird noise at the fans side,but it does not sound like a fan and it only makes this noise when the xbox is off and stil plugged in,can anyone help me please?

    In the system audio settings there is a setting for rating collection data. Try turning this setting to off (if it isn't already set to off). Hopefully this helps. If not, please let us know.

    It may be part of the console shutdown sequence your hearing. Certain times in the early morning my console, while off, connects to the network, does a check and disconnects again. This process causes the slightest noise that sounds like "discs operating". Late at night early morning amplifies sounds of the console operating. I rarely hear it.

    I'm pretty sure you have nothing to worry about unless the sound is very loud.
