    I just bought this xbox off mercari and when i got it i put my disc in and it made a grinding noise so i look up things to do and found out that the warranty was expired and that this model was discontinued. Is there anything i can do to fix it or am i
    out of luck?

    Yeah. it's a sort of grinding noise. Unfortunately now is broken. It turns on but is not starting up and makes the grinding noise.

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about it, it would require a repair.replacement, but since it's out of warranty and discontinued there are no other options. Only to trying to return it and get your money back (if that is even possible)

    I know Gamestop fixes them but unfortunately they are temporarily closed. I doubt other repair shops are open.

    I would keep the reciept safe and try and send it back to the retailer that you bought the product from for a full refund. Hopefully you are able to get your money back.
