Xbox Live Vision Camera says Malfunctioned Windows 10

Hi, I am a Gaming Live streamer, and up until yesterday my Xbox Live Vision Cam plugged into a USB on my PC and running through OBS/SLOBS perfectly for almost 2 years, yesterday Windows told me it "Malfunctioned" while setting up my stream, so I did all
the driver update and rollback, and unistalled, scan for hardware changes and nothing. Almost immediately my PC became slow and would not give me access to ChkDsk in CMD Prompt, so I tried going online and I couldnt even open a browser window.

After leaving it off overnight I have reset the PC the its factory state and just finished updating.

My cam, that was recording/broadcasting in a crisp resolution of 720p, statesthe resolution is 1280 x 960, and the quality is grainy, and dark.

Also while using Chroma key previous to yesterday, I had a small amount of unhidable shadow. As of today Chroma Key may as well not be used, even though i have 2 x studio lamps.

Hi Jasmine.

Having followed these steps, the only error it could not fix is Hanging or Crashing apps. ( missing BITS - NET HELPMSG 2182)

Researching this is quite confusing as there is NO "fix".

According to Device Manager, all of my Devices (Camera - its states the driver is for Xbox 360 Vision, Elgato HD60,) have the latest drivers.

I attempted to stream yesterday via the same programs I have used for almost 2 years, and my CPU usage shot up into 97-99%(usually peaking around 70%, but never more). Resulting in crashing my PC and Stream.

This issue is having a negative affect on my Channels.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted or outdated Camera drivers.

In many cases, the Windows Store will automatically notify you if there’s a problem with an app and try to fix the problem. If you continue experiencing problems with an app, this tool can automatically identify
and fix some problems with apps and the Store.

Type troubleshooting in the search box next to Start icon and select the top most search result.
Click on View All from the left hand screen panel.
Select Windows Store apps, click on Advanced
option and check Apply repairs automatically option.
Follow the on screen instructions.

What about Kinect 2.0? Is it really that much of an improvement over my Xbox Live Vision Camera? Yes I'm still rocking the Vision camera lol.

Hi ASUSunDevils,

It is not possible to use your computer to make a profile picture. The only way you could use a custom gamer pic is to use the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, but this will only allow you to customize your personal gamer pic (only people your friends list would
