Xbox Live update failure

    Xbox Live update failure


    I bought a used Xbox 360 4Gb for my kid and it reports that Live needs an update.

    Wifi is connected as well as Xbox Live but update error pops up.

    I am using a usb stick of 16gb which he uses for a while now. Appr. 14gb free space.

    Can anyone help how to solve this?

    Error code 8000-000f

    The
    update sticky     indicates contact XBOX Support for that error code. Official forum support personel will be online in a few hours.



    Next time, I'd suggest refusing the update until it's up on the website.

    Thanks man, I guess im going to have to start updating through usb so that nothing goes wrong even though I have been updating through xbox live this whole time and no console failures yet. I just wanted to make sure because I have been seeing more of these
    posts about console failures through this update then any other.
