xbox live transferring

setting up a new xbox live, i put in a prepaid xbox live card, and somehow my dad's account got the xbox live, and he really won't use it. is there any way to transfer his xbox live to my account thing? I have thought of just changing his account to my liking,
but i would much rather transfer if i can.

You can try phoning support for your region & they may give you credit for the gold membership to put on your account but as a rule you can't transfer gold memberships between accounts.

Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.

The transfer cable is not necessary for the license transfer, but it's a tool to transfer data from one consoles hard drive to another:

I understand that. Use the transfer kit to transfer date while offline. You cannot transfer licences when not connected to Xbox LIVE.

Unfortunately Raymundo you will need to do a transfer license to transfer the content licenses to that Xbox 360 console from a previous one. You can't just redownload them to a new console. However do note that content licenses can not be transfered between
gamertags only consoles. For steps to do a license transfer please visit
