    Xbox Live Tenure


    Hi,

    I am having an issue with my Xbox Live Gold Tenure. My tenure used to show up as 10 years but now shows as 4 years. This has been like this for a few months now that I know of (a friend of mine let me know when he viewed my profile a few months ago). I believe
    it should be at 11 years now.

    Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated!

    Xbox Live Tenure

    Hi there,

    This is a bug that has been effecting a number of users randomly (including myself), so rest assured you're not alone.

    Sometimes downloading your profile clears it up. It does eventually clear up on it's own, but make take a bit.

    Microsoft has changed how tenure is calculated. See below:

    Tenure is based on the cumulative amount of Xbox LIVE Gold time a user has. While you do not lose tenure when you go Silver, Xbox LIVE Silver time does not accrue tenure. You will see your tenure increase
    only when the year of Xbox LIVE Gold time has finished.

    For your first year of Xbox LIVE Gold you will see a '0' and increase to '1' year of tenure when that year is up! For example, if you've had Xbox LIVE Gold for 3 years and 6 months, you'll see a tenure of '3' next to your Gamertag.
