    Xbox Live Subscription is still active after past due and am wondering what’s up


    I lost my regular summer day job from Covid this year after treeplanting and haven’t been able to afford to renew my subscription. It ran out on the 8th of November. I can still play multiplayer for some reason and am wondering if anyone knows how many days I have left before I can’t play any multiplayer. I’ve tried researching but can’t find anything on the topic so any info would be much appreciated. Also, I have barely played online at all in the past six months even tho I have been subscribed because I lost my job and income to support housing and internet cost and am wondering if that has anything to do with it. Basically I’ve been paying for live for six months and haven’t been able to play at all. I am currently in quarantine because I wanted to check my health and luckily they have internet so I brought my Xbox with me. Cheers! Happy gaming!!

    Make sure that your live subscription is still active and not past due.

    The game that is not showing up make sure it is not a disc game and that it is a digital game and that the order is still showing as complete in your order history at:

    Hi Stan,

    Under subscriptions, if the Xbox Live is active then try to remove and redownload the profile. If that does not help then try to power cycle the console by hold the power button for 10 seconds on the xbox itself (not the controller).

    Also check to make sure there was no past due balances as well:

    Games with Gold unpurchasing issue

    Is your Xbox Live Gold subscription still active? In order to keep on playing past games with gold, you will have to have an active Gold subscription.

    If it is saying the Xbox Live was suspended then it could be due to a past due balance

    Otherwise, it would be due to the
    enforcement     but it would state that is the reason for the suspension. After the update to the console, it is possible to view the enforcement history now as well.

    You are likely have a past due balance, you can check your
    account.microsoft.com/services    , if the game is discounted through Xbox Live Gold then you will need to renew your subscription.

    There is also the possibility that someone else has an account with an active Xbox Live subscription that is set as the home on that console.
