Xbox Live Subscription Discount (47.99)

I was attempting to purchase Xbox live for 47.99 when a screen popped up saying there was some error and to wait sometime and try again. I waited 20 min and restarted the Xbox one and the same message reappeared. I've been waiting now for 2 hours and still
does not work.

Nope, no impending price drop on Xbox Live. Microsoft makes far too much money on such subscriptions, and lowering the price will lower its own profits. There's no reason the company needs to drop the price, and individual retailers are often the ones that discount subscription cards. It's always nice to find such deals, but they're not indicative of Microsoft's future plans.

Hello I tried to purchase this same offer but when I selected it on my xbox dashboard it took me to a different screen that was charging me the full price. Is there any way I can still purchase this offer of xbox live 47.99 for 12 months?

Same thing happens to me, 10/27/2016; keeps taking me to either full yearly price or 9.99 / month screen.
