    Xbox live subscription charges to credit card


    Got charges for 13.43 july 24, august,september, october and im guessing soon to be november 24. Also got

    charged 78.39 on october 1st. Checks subscription and it is cancelled and was paid with prepaid card anyways. I dont play my xbox 360 for over 6 years. And my xbox one was cancelled in september 2017. It was noon when i tried to get contact with
    someone to ask about it but cant get anyone. Like at noon for crying outloud. I would like to know what i can do. I want a refund, and for this to stop. What do i do

    Most pre-paid credit cards do not allow recurring charges, and that is a requirement for an XBox Live subscription (promotional or regular) to be charged to a credit card.

    No you can't.

    You have never been able to buy xbox live with your account money.

    It has to be a credit/debit card,paypal account or a xbox live subscription card.

    If you bought live then it would of been charged to your paypal account.

    You'll want to contact Xbox Support. Most likely there was a subscription tied to a credit card on the account.

    When the system can't charge the credit card, the charge will remain pending and you can't redeem subscription codes during this pending state.

    If she added a new card to the account, it may have charged for one of those pending months of Xbox Live Gold.

    Xbox Support can help sort this out.

    1. You are correct that you should never display any of your account/personal information.

    2. This is what I understand from your post. If you applied an Xbox Gold subscription card on the 6th, and your account renewal/"expires on" date is on the 18th, then the credit card would not be charged. At least that's how it has worked
    for me.

    You can verify by clicking on your gamertag name in the upper right corner of this web page, then "Microsoft Account" and then click the "Services & Subscriptions" tab, you will see a date that your Xbox Live subscription expires on. If the date is something
    beyond February 18, 2016, then your Xbox Live Gold subscription card has taken effect and the credit card should not be charged at that time.
