    Xbox live subscription changes


    Getting really frustrated with the lack of support from xbox so thought someone in the community may be able to help me?

    Did Microsoft send out an email to inform everyone of the change in the way that live subscriptions payments are taken? I certainly don't remember seeing anything about the change so didn't have enough money in my bank account to cover it, the money that
    I did have (or other bills), ended up going to the (not) extra subscription that I didn't know was going to happen and my actual bill for my internet and telephone bill didn't get paid...…… charges galore for me from the bank, internet provider and all sorts.
    Why was I not informed of the change? Isn't that illegal?

    Might be nice if I could actually get some answers rather than keep getting fobbed off.

    Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

    Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

    But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

    Yes I've seen this but not until after the bill was taken from my account! I've searched all communication from Microsoft and can't find anything prior to the money being taken, I don't necessarily check online for every subscription I have on a daily
    basis to see if there are about to be any changes coming up, if I did that I'd literally have no time to do anything else!

    and, if you are a parent or guardian, help your minor child close his or her Microsoft account."

    Updates to the Services or Software, and Changes to These Terms.

    I am using the same email, i have checked all folders.

    I cant understand how I’m the only person who has missed this?!

    Also, can you explain why I’ve had the payment taken twice? I get that not everyones paymebt date was the same date that their subscription expired and it was causing confusion but mine was the same day, I had no confusion! I just had two payments going
    out on the same day that I didnt expect to happen!

    That’s really lousy. I feel your frustration. I’d contact them and and ask for a refund of at least one payment.

    Also, it’s always better to make sure autorenew is OFF if you haven’t already.
