Xbox Live subscribe - My card is not accepted but I was charged of 2€ for Microsoft Dublin

Hi everyone,

I'm French, and I have subscribed for a 3 months Xbox live 3 months ago. I have a new credit card, so I changed my account information to pay for 3 new months, but it is not working : the transaction have been canceled, and when I go check my bank account,
I see that 2€ have been taken, for "Microsoft Dublin".

Can someone help me with my new subscription and this weird transaction of 2€ ?

Why won't you let me give you money for points?

I have tried 2 different cards today to try and buy points for my xbox live account. Both cards have been rejected.

The first is accepted but will not allow payment. I am aware of the issue with this card and so moved on to another. However my main Visa card will not even be accepted as a valid credit card. There is no block from my bank preventing me from using it with
xbox live or microsoft. I don't know what the problem is. Can someone please tell me why microsoft doesn't want my money?

Pending Charges from Xbox live on prepaid visa

I usually just buy prepaid xbox live cards from wal mart but decided to purchase this time to use my a prepaid visa card. Well when I added my prepaid visa to my account and tried to confirm 59.99 xbox live payment I got an error message > 0x80190848. I
have no idea why but when I pre ordered for a game Microsoft accepted my card and sent me an order number and receipt.

I checked my prepaid card and the charges for the preorder game is pending but I also notice there is a pending charge for the 1 year of xbox live I charged to purchase but wouldn't go through because of the error message 0x80190848.

I just wanted to know even though it Is saying pending on my prepaid card , I am not being charged because it would accept it?!!!!?

Sorry I am new to the whole card using thing. I always pay cash for everything.

I have charges on my debit card for xbox live. I do not even know what an xbx live is. I have had charges in September and now October.

How do I cancel this> when I do not subscribe??? Do I trust that when I change my debit card the xbox charge will stop> Or continue?

Please advise. Thank you - I cannot afford this.

calls cannot be accepted from my region and im in dublin so thats the wrong number...

Years ago Microsoft wasn't accepting my debit card to renew XBOX live yet it worked to buy rent a servers for BF3. Then after messing around and calling Microsoft it was working but then wasn't getting charged on debit card then I was forced to buy Microsoft
live month cards instead. So looks like problems I had like 4 or 5 years ago isn't fixed yet? Go figure. Best to just use Bing awards and get free XBOX live now days.

There are two kinds of pre-paid cards for Xbox: The first is a pre-paid Xbox Live Gold subscription card that once redeemed will subscribe you to Xbox Live Gold. The second is an Xbox Gift Card which once redeemed will add credits to your Microsoft Account
balance to spend on digital products or subscriptions from the Microsoft Store. The type of card will be labeled on the front and Xbox Gift cards will display the amount of currency you will be redeeming, while Xbox Live Gold pre-paid cards will display the
amount of time you will be subscribing to Xbox Live Gold.

If you want to use an Xbox Gift Card to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for PC, you will need to have enough credits in your account balance to cover the initial charge plus the renewal charge, or you will need to add a backup payment option like a debit or
credit card.
