Xbox Live sign in error: You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account...

But I have the Authenticator app for a one time password which only verifies my sign ins...

And if I sign in with my E-Mail and password, it prompts me:

"We can't sign you in
You've used an incorrect account or password too many times. If it's an organization account, it might not be active yet."

I think my account is locked. I tried to download the profile in the console with every password imaginable and this message appears: "Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to
https://account.live.com for help".

Then I enter the site and try there too, and appears: "You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password".

I had this problem too, in the end I sorted it by going to account.live.com/Activity If you're signed into your Microsoft account this page has a list of every time you've signed into Xbox live and every time you've tried. I just clicked on each time
it wouldn't let me and then clicked again on the option to confirm that it was me. Have had no problems since. Hope this helps.
