I have all of those things installed already, still getting the same sign in problem. None of the other articles seem to be relevant.

Does the sign in process to the launcher involve the Microsoft Edge browser in any way? I uninstalled it from my computer a while back and I set it so it can't be reinstalled

the launcher didn't show up on the advanced app page.

the link you provided me doesn't allow me to get the launcher, it doesn't do any downloads visible to me. is that the official page?

I appreciate you trying the steps. Kindly try to repair the apps. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset. Do the same for MS store and Minecraft launcher.
