Xbox Live Rewards - Refer a Friend (to purchase a console)

I received a timely email yesterday telling me to refer a friend through the Xbox one rewards program for us to both receive a 25,000 point bonus if the refered friend purchase an Xbox one console. It just so happens I am going to go and pick up a halo 5
console for a second one so my wife can play with me.

However when I try and go through the referral link none of my friends show up and it just states that "All of your eligible friends have already been referred", which I am certain is incorrect.

I have contacted support and they suggested that I am better to post in the support forums to get some help with referring my wife and a second friend whom wishes to get a console in the next week or two.

If anyone you're trying to refer has ever used a One, they will already show as being an Xbox One user and will not be eligible for referral.

Yes, since you were referred on the 19th, and did not register until the 21st, it would not have been possible to Reward you for that referral since there was no Rewards Account to award the referral to, as specified in the FAQ:

—Is there anything I should know about referring my friends?There are several eligibility requirements you must meet in order to earn Rewards for referring your friends, or for being referred by one of your friends.

To refer friends, you have to be an Xbox Live Rewards member and have Xbox Live friends who meet the eligibility requirements.
If you've been referred by your Xbox Live friend, you'll only receive your Reward if you successfully complete the offer by completing the required action within the set time period. You must also meet other eligibility requirements, like being older than
13 years of age and living in an eligible region.

Since you were referred on the 19th, you completed this offer and your friend was assigned their token for 1000 rubies. However, since you were not a Rewards member, you did not get a token. Only Rewards members can receive Rewards.

Hm.

So, there is absolutely no form of compensation you can do? Even though I did join the Rewards program within those 48 hours.
