Xbox Live Renewal Offer on Xbox One

I logged into my Xbox this afternoon to be greeted with an offer to renew my Xbox live subscription for 20% off and get a Bonus Game ( Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime). As my subscription was soon up for renewal obviously this got my attention. However when
Attempting to purchase said offer it shows no discount (Full Price $79.95). Any assistance or information would be greatly appreciated. (I also checked with an other account that had no Xbox subscription and it was the same.)

Gold Membership Codes

For anyone who has a Gold membership with Xbox Live, have you seen these coupon offers? Supposedly, you can either get Xbox free or get a free trial offer for as long as one year. There might be a catch, but maybe they're just doing it to promote the Gold membership. Has anyone ever gotten a free trial?Click to expand...

I haven't seen any of those coupon offers that you mentioned, however I do see coupons advertised on the Xbox Live dashboard all the time for a certain percentage off when you renew your membership. I think the best offer I've seen yet is for half off, if you renewed your membership that day.

Follow-up,... just got off the phone with support and they have advised that i need to make a post on the xbox forum stating that

DESPITE BEING ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROMOTION AND FOLLOWING THE PROMOTION LINK ON THE XBOX DASHBOARD, I DIDN’T GET EITHER THE GAME OR THE DISCOUNT.

Not too sure why they couldn’t help me themselves but there you have it.

The promotion was on the Xbox One dashboard. The offer was that if you renewed your Xbox Live membership, tou would recieve a message with 1 month EA Access. Thanks

Promotional offers are available for a limited time and are usually shown at random. There are different offers shown to silver members and gold members. So you might not see the same exact deal, but there's almost always some sort of deal.

I think its a limited time offer for new Xbox Users. The offers you get all the time before your Gold membership is up, you get 1 month for $1. But after that month you have to pay $5 a month for 1 month if I am not mistaking.
