Xbox Live Redemption went to wrong account

I have (2) Microsoft accounts. (1) for my surface pro (2) for x box one. I purchased live for my xbox1 account and it went to the wrong email and username that I use for my surface pro. Is there anyway to transfer this? It was a 3 month subscription.

What could I be doing wrong? It's my home Xbox, I went offline.

I cannot even log in to my Xbox. I'm not even talking about Xbox live. I can't sign in to my account on Xbox.

CODE REDEMPTION ERROR

Anyone know why my console says my redemption code is invalid? (redemption on the site goes to : "Something went wrong")

PS: Support teams said it was valid they checked it

You would have to contact support. They should be able to cancel it and give you a token to redeem on the correct account. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

If you log in to your
Microsoft Account page, under Payments & Billing > Order History it should show your code redemption, and have a link that will take you to the store listing. From there, if you have remote instillation allowed on your console, you should be able to initiate
the download from that store page.

If you are unable to find the redemption on that page, then we will need to look at the process you went through for redemption, what the code specifically was for, and where things went wrong.

I have this same problem, brand new sub code for xbox live and "something went wrong" no problems on my account, tried it both on the PC and on the Xbox... just returns "Something went wrong"... useful... not.

Does anybody know what is going on with this?

Are you able to sign in on Microsoft and Xbox website with your account? Does this error happens only on Xbox app and Microsoft store? If so, please try the steps below:

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking > Fix it.

- Click on Start > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Also delete Microsoft Store local cache files at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Restart you computer. Change your account password on Microsoft or Xbox website and try to sign in to the desktop apps again.

Would you please try to check your Windows system files for errors?

Go to Start > Search for Command Prompt > Right Click > Run as Administrator.

Run one command at a time:

sfc /scannow

chkdsk /r

chkdsk /f

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Also, are you able to sign in on your account on Microsoft and Xbox websites just fine?
