Xbox live recovery not working

if the email is going to a live email address also check in the spam or junk folder. I have had a reset go there a time or two before.

Thanks meanmachine - when I was performing an account recovery it was getting 90% done on the first bar and then getting the message "Xbox LIVE sign-up is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

After clearing the cache the account recovery worked first time.

Well I'm having the same problem. When I attempt to recover it says. "Xbox Live Signup is currently Unavailable. Please Try again later" I tested all my connections, and everything is working. Other accounts can connect to Xbox Live, but the recovery
system doesn't seem to be working, and honestly it's very annoying.

Xbox LIVE sign-up or account recovery is not currently available.

Various factors that affect account management, recovery, or sign-up may cause this error. Try these steps:



Check the Xbox LIVE service status:

On the top of every page of the Customer Support site, you can see the current status of Xbox LIVE.

Run the Xbox LIVE connection test for status.

Go to My Xbox, and select System Settings.

Select Network.

Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection. When the test is completed, the service status is displayed on the screen.

Wait, and then try again later.



If these do not work your only other option will be to contact support and see if they can help you out.
