Xbox Live problem while playing a game.

I reinstalled a game last night and tried playing it today. The game opened up normally, but as I played the game, my Xbox Live kept disconnecting, reconnecting, then repeat. It didn't happen right away, there were semi-long to very short pauses between
each time it did it, about around 20 minutes to right away each pause, and started a few minutes after I started up the game. It kept doing this until I closed the game. I was confused. Can anyone tell me why this was happening?

The game was Batman Arkham Knight, so everytime it disconnected, I got a message from the game, pausing the entire game all together, telling me that it was disconnected and some stuff might not be available, so it was annoying constantly getting these messages.
The problem only happens when Im playing this game.

Thanks, but I own an Xbox One. Not a Xbox 360. I appreciate the help though!

I believe the problems been solved. I tried to play the game while Xbox Live was in maintenence, after Xbox Live was working, I was able to play the game without any problems.

The problem is the fact that many Xbox LIVE Arcade games require the live connection while playing. So yes, you will need internet for those games.

i have the same problem i can't play the games i have purchased while i'm offline, but if i'm in xbox live i can play the full version of it
