Xbox Live Passcode forgotten

I put a passcode on my Xbox 360 live account, for which it asks every time before I log in, but it doesn't work. Is there some way I could reset the passcode so I can access my account please? Thanks

How do I get pass the pass code on my Xbox360

If you've forgotten your Xbox Live gamertag's passcode you just delete and redownload your profile. This will clear the profile of any passcode. Now, if you've forgotten your XBOX 360's Family passcode then you need to contact phone support, there's absolutely
no way to reset it manually by yourself without speaking with phone support. Worst case scenario is that you will have to "Reset to Factory Defaults" to clear the forgotten Family Passcode.

I don't believe even a factory reset will clear a lost family passcode. You would have to contact Support for that.

You would need to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and they would be able to help you with that.

Hi

Please see the guide below as long as the console has been registered to your account it may be possible to reset the passcode without needing to contact the support team directly.

if you have forgotten the family passcode (and security question). The only thing that can be done to reset it, is contacting Xbox Support.

You can do this via
support.xbox.com/contact-us and select the request callback option.

@brandiesel1: The solution you specified is used when somebody has forgotten the xbox live passcode, that solution doens't work for the family passcode.

The only way to change your passcode is to put in your current one.

If you have forgotten your current passcode you will need to recover your account.
