Xbox Live party chat needs to be better

Xbox Live party chat needs a total rework. It's terrible. The amount of delay it has is ridiculous. Speaking of delay, I love hearing myself talk a second or two after I speak like some kind of mix/minus issue. Then there's just random echo when people talk
in parties. It's not a hardware issue, it's not the kind of headset we're using either. It's random.

With excellent voice services on PC like Discord and Team Speak, etc. Theres no excuse for Xbox live party chat to be as awful and awkward as it is!

Party chat will only be available to live players. To chat with cross network gamers the app would probably need to implement some sort of voice or party function.

Is Skype and Xbox Live in-game Chat going to be your only 2 chat options on the Xbox One?

I read that your won't be able to cross chat nor voice message across Xbox 360 and Xbox One. But this thread is about your chat options between Xbox One users.

Xbox Live Party is a popular thing on Xbox Live. I think they should introduce an Xbox Live Party chat or some sort of other Party Chat mode which you can use instead of having to use Skype. Xbox Live Party sounds better than Skype Call, unless they rename
it Skype Party. You know, a Party Chat with a group of say 4-8 people like Xbox Live Party instead of having to use Skype.

For Skype Calls on Xbox One, what will be the maximum you can have in the call, and can you change the Skype Call party to Invite Only so you don't get so many eve droppers?

Xbox Live Party

Video Kinect

Private Chat 1-4.

Problem with Xbox Live in-game chat is it can only be used while you are in the game. You can't go off and play another game or do something else, and other peoples voices may get distorted after a while. Can you be in a Skype Call if you don't have the
Kinect plugged in and if you just want to use a mic instead? Thanx for reading

maybe i just dont norice because im so used to it but im pretty happy

 

I have noticed an echo from some people from time to time, in both parties, and game chat.

Do you know if anyone in the party is sitting close to their tv, or have their tv volume turned up a lot? as that could be what is happening.
