Xbox Live Party Chat (Game Bar) Windows 10 Pro Not connecting!

As the title says.....

I've opened all XBL ports on my router and have an OPEN NAT. I run XBL services in windows settings and everything comes back great! But when I try to join or open a party it just sits there saying connecting... Every once in a while it will connect but
very rarely. How do I go about fixing this and having it to work as I still have several friends on Xbox and would still like to join parties with them and hang out.? I've even selected fix this in the gaming settings to see if that would work and still nothing....

Game Bar chat has not been working for me at all since this past weekend. Thought it might be that i had’t installed the latest windows update, bit that hasnt reaolved it either.

oh and i was able to connect with some using the ios xbox app, so it is a Game Bar issue for sure.

Soon as I say that it finally connected lol

It connected last night for me finally but now its not again!

Hi,

You can create and join parties on Windows 10 just like on Xbox. You can do this using the

Windows 10 Game Bar. The people you are playing with can still chat to you using Game Bar even if they are on an Xbox One console.

Something to note:

If your controller is connected to your PC via Bluetooth you'll need to connect a microphone to your mic port on your PC. Chat via a microphone on an Xbox One controller is only available via USB or an Xbox One Gaming Receiver.

There are some more convoluted setups as well, but they would work such as connecting the bluethooth headset to a Windows 10 PC and using the Game Bar or Xbox apps to connect to a Xbox party and chatting that way, still remaining wire free and utilizing
your existing bluetooth headsets.
