Xbox Live parental control settings

Hello Community,

I have some issues with the parental control settings.

I got the new Forza Horizon 4 for PC and now I wanted to look up some tunes. When I click the "find new tunes" button I get that message:





If I now go to my profile in Xbox -> More -> Privacy I get this website:

I cant change my privacy setting? My Birthday is set to May 2000 and I dont have a family in microsoft.

So why do I get that child settings stuff? And how can I change that to use that feature from FH4?

Xbox 360 console parental controls --- What you can control

You can customize and manage your family’s access to games, movies and television content using Xbox 360 parental controls. The Xbox 360 parental controls can also be used to control the console itself and access to Xbox LIVE. In addition, the Xbox 360 console parental controls allow you to limit the time that can be used by your each family member.

Note: Parental controls are divided in to groups: console control and online safety and privacy. You'll find the console control in the Family Setting or Family Center area of your console.

How to turn on the parental controls

• You need to go to Settings on your console and then select Family.
• Press On to turn on Console Safety.
• You need to enter a 4-button pass code using your controller.
• Finally, press Save and Exit.

Note: If you don't see Settings, you'll have to update your console software.

The controlling options:

Ratings and Content: Using these settings, you can restrict games and video content based on the content’s rating. You can also choose whether or not unrated or explicit content can be played on your console.

Tip: For individual games, you can set up exceptions to the rating restrictions that you’ve set.

Family Timer: Using this setting, you can limit the time that your console can be used on a daily or weekly basis.

Xbox LIVE Access: Using this setting, you can control the access of you family to Xbox LIVE.

Xbox LIVE Membership Creation: This setting lets you set whether or not new Xbox LIVE memberships can be created from your console.

My first idea was to use the Forza forum, but I cant login. Im still waiting to get an awnser to my support ticket about it.

But well the main issue isnt Forza itself. I have the issue because I cant change my online safety / privacy settings in xbox.

The solutions in your link didnt work for me. I still cant change my online safety / privacy settings.

Thank you for keeping us updated in regards to the Online Safety and Privacy Settings not saving.

Please report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:

1. On your console, install the
   Xbox
   Insider Hubapp (if you don’t already have it).
   
2. Hold down the
   Xboxbutton on the controller.
   
3. On the power menu, select
   Report a problem.
   

*Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages,
and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

Also, please try to adjust the settings on the console itself and let us know if it saves.

As per the birthdate did you just change it to May 2000? Also if you did the Birthdate on Xbox.com you are unable to change. We recommend associating your

account to a family with a parent account, then have the parent account try and change the privacy settings.

If you still having issues you can
Contact Us to see if you are a child account still and maybe haven't converted to an adult account correctly.

The link you provided only shows me how I make an xbox family with an xbox one.

But Im on PC and we dont own an xbox. Is there a way to make a family on the xbox website? Or how can I create one without an xbox?
