Xbox Live not working after pre paid card accepted

so my subscription for gold on Xbox one had ended I picked up a 3 month subscription pre paid card to enter. When I entered the code my Xbox had accepted it then offered me “1 month free Gold with auto-renew” and I clicked ON thinking I had funds left on
a pre-paid MasterCard attached to my account. Once accepted I go to play a game and nothing works. So I look online for help and figured it was the auto-renew function messing up as I didn’t have enough funds on the MasterCard (prepaid) and figured I should
turn off auto-renew and it will work. Well I did that and Live is not working for any game. It says online and on my xbox that I have a 3 month subscription to Gold but it is not working! Help!!

Hello, did you also check that the address for your account and credit card match exactly.

May I also ask if the card you are using is a pre paid credit card as not all pre paid cards are a accepted by Microsoft.

Yeah it's legit. Though more and more companies are starting to accept them. Should be able to buy a pre-paid subscription card from a store and use it though, that won't require a credit/debit card on file.
