    For example, if you have money in your account on Live, can you use that to buy physical games from the MS store?

    I'm not sure exactly what will happen, if it will be removed or stay behindon the MS account. If I would guess I would guess it stays on the MS account, which would make it accessible for Xbox Live Account 2 in your example.

    But just in case I would advise to try and use the funds before moving an xbox live account to a different Microsoft Account

    Want to purchase Xbox 360 games via Xbox One using prepaid funds instead of a credit card.

    The only way to use funds from ms account is to use an Xbox 360 for bc titles

    No. The currency in your account can only be used on the online marketplace. The MS Store is an actual retailer so you'd have to use something like a credit card.

    Exact MS account check!

    Linked to Xbox account uncheck... that one doesn't have the funds.

    • My MS account -> linked to old account that MS or EA cannot assist with, thus orphaned.
    • no MS account ->New Xbox account not linked, but have Game pass on.
    Is there a way to remove an Xbox account and link a new one?
