Xbox Live (Mobile) Multiplayer

I can join any of my friends currently on Xbox Live other than one. We were able to play for months together before this problem arose. It’s been going on over a month now. We can join through mutual friends, but whennjt is just us we are seen as offline
and invites to games do not go through. Both of us are on mobile devices, and have this problem no matter what internet we are on. I know we both do not have the setting “appear offline” chosen because both os us can connect with other friends. I’ve gone through
all the xbox support pages and nothing is giving me answers. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Kindly ask your dad to sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone” for your account:

* You can join cross-network play

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure he hit “submit” when he made any changes.

Also, once done, please quit and re-launch your game to re-sync the changes that were made.

Minecraft follows the rules of the platform it's on. On Xbox One, an active Xbox Live Gold subscription
is required for online multiplayer. ... Minecraft on desktop and mobile platforms only requires a free Xbox
Live Account because those platforms do not have a paid online service.

Hi Leyla,

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. Have you been able to connect to this mobile hotspot before? Xbox Live connectivity is not optimal using a mobile hotspot.

What error messages are you getting and have you tested the network and multiplayer connection test's in the console's Network settings?

Have you restarted your mobile device already and logged back into your hotspot service?

Give us more information on the issue so we can figure out what could be done to fix the issue.
