Xbox live messages not showing up on 360

As of recently I'm not consistently receiving my xbox live messages on my Xbox 360. I can see the messages on my Xbox one and my PC but my inbox is empty on the 360. I've missed important messages lately when I'm gaming on the 360. From talking to
other people it seems they are also having similar issues so it doesn't appear that it's just something related to my account.

Wondering if there is a way to fix this or has Microsoft just stopped supporting messaging on the 360? Thanks.

That's the way my message from Xbox Live was showing up. Can you download your gamertag on a friend's Xbox 360?

Having the same problem. Went from randomly receiving messages from xb1 to 360....... to only receiving messages when you sign out and back in.... to receiving none at all in recent weeks.

Az, the only way that friends show up on your 360 list, as well as your Xbox One list, is if they add you from either the forums, or whilst using their 360. I have the same problem. When looking at my FL from the forum, it shows that I'm missing about
10 friends that show up when I'm using the xbox one.

Use the left or right shoulder/bumper buttons not the triggers and scroll over to your messages.

None of the buttons do anything except the B button to get back to the previous screen. The previous screen has the opening page icons. The message center icon says I have 11 messages. It is stuck on the DLC tab and that tab says no messages, but I can
not move off that tab
