Xbox live messages codes are delete

I received my code through Xbox Live messages, and not through e-mail. Make sure you don't delete any message from LIVE (it will show as the sender). If you delete there's no way for them to recover the code and you'll lose the specializations.

I had done the same thing, but it appears if you don't use your code withing a few of the sent message on xbox live messaging center, you receive another message from Xbox Live. The message simply states that it appears you have not used your code, and the
same code is present in that message. But make sure not to delete that message!

Don't see any Messages i got from xbox live. All codes and I received from the xbox live are gone. I never used one of the codes. The codes were for gears 1 to 3 and judgement. and one month game pass.

I have messages from friends from 2016. So far only XBOX LIVE Messages are gone.

I remember recently getting a notification from Xbox that, with the transition of the Xbox App/messaging, that all messages would be deleted. I'm guessing that is when it happened?
